Fallback Pasta

Ingredients

  • 300 g (11 oz) whole wheat pasta
  • 3 c frozen mixed veggies
  • 32-oz jar marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/3 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • Bring medium pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add pasta to water and boil until cooked.
  • When pasta is cooked, add frozen vegetables to boiling water and boil until warmed.
  • Drain pasta and vegetables.
  • Add marina and spices to pot and heat until hot.
  • Add drained pasta and vegetables to sauce and mix together.
  • Divide pasta among plates and top with cheese.
