Cherry Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c old-fashioned oats
- 3/4 c all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- heaping 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 c plus 1 tbsp milk
- 1/4 c maple syrup
- 1 egg or 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flax plus 2 1/2 tbsp water)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 c chocolate chips
- 1/2 c dried cherries
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
- Line baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.
- Thoroughly mix oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add milk, syrup, egg, and vanilla and stir until just combined.
- Stir in chips and cherries.
- Scoop cookie batter onto lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 min.
